Boutique Accomodation In The Heart Of Beechworth...

Beechworth

Beechworth

Beechworth is an incredibly relaxing town in all seasons, with beautifully preserved buildings and homes, gourmet restaurants, friendly locals, photogenic landscapes, award winning vineyards and a craft beer brewery. Spectacular golden leaves and crisp sunny days typify autumn. Winter is the time for brisk walks followed by cosy wood fires, hearty cooking and a glass of red. In spring the town’s gardens come alive with buds and flowers, and during summer escaping the heat at Lake Sambell and Woolshed Falls are very popular.

It’s truly a town worth spending time in, and at Luxury on Loch you’re right in the heart of the action just a short walk from the shopping, historic buildings, cafes and high country scenery.

Eat

Beechworth has a multitude of gourmet eating options, including Japanese inspired five star dining at the award winning Provenance. Head chef and owner Michael Ryan bringing a high end dining experience to the country.

Other favourites of ours include The Ox and Hound Bistro. Sean and Lauren have created a menu based on their passion, rustic French and Italian cuisine. Expect a menu stacked with bistro classics and an easy to follow wine list

Or pop in and see Mike and Heather at the Press Room for tapas and drinks. Spanish inspired food and renowned for amazing cocktails definitely worth a visit.

We are pretty excited about the recently refurbished Empire Hotel, a fabulous new look and a great menu too!

Drink

Beechworth is well-known as one of Australia’s premier wine regions and a variety of classic and modern wine styles are produced by the local vignerons such as Savaterre, Giaconda and Traviarti.

Most vineyards are open by appointment, yet one of the best ways to experience Beechworth’s award-winning wines is to settle in for an evening at the Cellar Door Wine Store and let the experienced sommeliers take you through the region’s best.

If craft beer is more your style, then don’t miss a visit to Bridge Road Brewers for a beer tasting paddle and an Austrian-inspired pizza.

Shop

Ford Street and Camp St are home to a myriad of shopfronts offering designer labels, locally-made jewellery and more.

Boutiques such as Ivy Phillips and Frances Pilley offer contemporary homewares, luxury fabrics and quality leather goods, local craft jewellers are on show at Beechworth Gold, and edible treats are taken care of by Beechworth Honey and the Beechworth Sweet Co
